Inspiring the Next Generation of Trail Explorers!
50 kids took home a little extra inspiration from Great Trails State Day at Valdese Lakeside Park!
Thanks to the Burke River Trail Association, these young explorers received binoculars, magnifying glasses, trail activity workbooks, scavenger hunt sheets, and bike safety books to encourage them to get outside, explore nature, and learn along the way.
From discovering what’s hiding along the trail to observing the world through binoculars, we hope these activities spark curiosity and a lifelong love of the outdoors!
Because trails aren’t just about getting from one place to another. They’re about discovery, adventure, and connecting with the world around us.
We loved seeing so many families enjoying the trails together!
